MetLife started its business in Argentina, in order to provide protection and savings solutions of the highest quality for millions of people. In November 2010, MetLife completed its purchase of Alico Inc., to become one of the largest life insurers of the world, a global leader in the insurance industry, serving the needs of approximately 90 million customers in over 50 countries.

Alico had already implemented the “Assets” InvGate solution that allowed them to minimize costs in order to get better control of their assets.  To these advantages, Metlife could also add specific knowledge and a better administration of its IT infrastructure both hardware and software.  Therefore, they could finally get the total keep track of the technological platform.

When Metlife decided to re-evaluate the IT inventory tools in order to help them to manage and control its technological infrastructure, Expertice was chosen again to fill this need, and “Assets” solution was selected to extend the keep track of its technological platform. This decision was supported on the experience previously got by Alico in the installation and management of this tool with the proven success of it.

In November 2012, Metlife decides to increase the efficiency of its IT inventory tool “Assets” with the acquisition of the other Invgate suite´s product named Service Desk.  This help desk tool facilitates the support administration and allows managing the organizations’ procedures efficiently as well as increasing its service level.

Nowadays, both solutions are fully integrated which ensures an excellent performance.
